John Johnson was born and raised right here in Spokane Washington.  He's a deep rooted local through and through.  John graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Marketing Management and began his career working for American Sign & Indicator Corporation as an officer for 14 years.  In 1990 John became an independent insurance agent and an investment broker, collectively representing many companies and their products.  John currently serves as Board Chairman for Northland Credit Union (a position he has held for a number of years).  John has been married to his wife, Joan for over 40 years and together raised four children.  He and Joan have been involved with World Relief, helping with the re-settlement of legal immigrants from countries such as Bosnia, Serbia, and Iran.
